The contest aims to create a platform for young researchers in which they present their innovative projects to take on today’s challenges in energy, engineering, and environment. Students are encouraged to prepare a slide show presentation of their research project.
How to Enter
Eligible students shall complete a research project in one of the areas of Energy, Engineering and Environment. Students will submit a slide show presentation to communicate their work. All entries must be submitted by February 24, 2012. Students can log in the online registration and follow instructions to complete their entries. Only individual projects can compete.
Judging
Judges will score the entries on creativity, scientific thought and methods, and the quality of presentation. Both the science component and the presentation skills are critical. The entries will be ranked according to overall score. The top 40 projects will be considered as semifinalists, and out of semifinalists, the top 10 projects will be selected as finalists to have a full expense paid trip to Huston to compete for Grand Prize during I-SWEEEP International Science Fair.
Prizes
Semifinalists (Top 40): $100 check, a recognition certificate and an-SWEEEP T-shirt.
Finalists (Top 10): Full expense paid-trip to Houston and $500.00 check.
Grand Award: $2,000 cash award and Grand Award Plaque
